Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it, for their wickedness is before me.
We become impatient with constant interruptions when working on a project. Sometimes, it’s challenging to get back on task when we stop and start again. God asked Jonah to travel to Ninevah, which meant he would lay everything down to continue forward in the work God commissioned. When we surrender our lives to God, we must lay everything down to follow Him. Surrender may require finding a new job, a different residence, or an immense lifestyle change. We will listen and make necessary changes according to the will of God.
Dear God, we have chosen to follow You and make necessary changes as we share our walk. We will listen and obey when given directions regarding Your plan. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
