And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, In as much as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
How do we serve Jesus? By serving others. How do we show our love for God? By loving the ones that He loves. And just as Jesus chose to love us when we were helplessly and hopelessly lost in sin, he invites us to turn our own attention to the helpless and hopeless; the sick, the poor, and the imprisoned, for the sake of God’s kingdom.
Father, thank You for Your great grace and mercy, which You’ve poured out so generously on me. I pray that Your grace might overflow from me, that I may always be ready to do good in Your name, and share kindness with the vulnerable and needy. Please open my eyes to opportunities around me to serve others for Your sake. In Jesus’ name, amen. ⚜️🙏⚜️⚜️🙏⚜️
