Jews and Gentiles rose against God’s Messiah, Jesus, and caused him to be crucified, but they did not realise they were fulfilling God’s purposes. Like Joseph’s brothers who sold him as an enslaved person in Egypt, they meant it for evil, but God told it for good. (Genesis 50:20) ⚜️🙏⚜️
O Lord, we do not understand many things that happen to us in this life. But we know that while men freely choose to do evil and wrong others, they are not outside of the Providential rule of your creation. They only “bring” what you “sent”, and we know that you work all of it together for the good of us, your people and your everlasting glory. Therefore, we will not be discouraged by the wrongs done to us by others but will trust that “you meant it for good.” Amen.⚜️🙏⚜️

Yes, as the rain falls on the just and the unjust, so does God use and care for the saint and the sinner. Why strive for righteousness if all fall short? I say to you when you meet your Most Magnificent Creator, you will prostrate yourself and barely be able to whisper, “Thank you.” You will then know how meek you are, yet loved. Grace abounds!
