Donald Trump says he will appeal the trial date set by a judge in the case of his efforts to overturn the 2020 election results, with the March 4, 2024 date falling just one day before the Super Tuesday set of Republican primaries.
It’s just the latest legal hurdle faced by the former president as he campaigns for a return to the White House while battling multiple criminal and civil cases.

Mr Trump has been indicted on a total of 91 charges across four separate criminal cases.
