ST. LOUIS – A new Missouri law about texting and driving.
Missouri is one of the last states to require cell phones and other electronic devices to be operated “hands-free” while driving. If you’re stopped for something else, you could also be fined $150 for illegal cell phone use.
Those fines don’t go into effect until 2025. For now, law enforcement will provide warnings in hopes of educating drivers about the new law.
