#AceBreakingNews according to Interfax (UKRAINE) News Report: Zelensky to Russians: we fought consequences of Chornobyl disaster together in 1986, you must tell your govt you want to live in land without radioactive contamination

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, addressing the citizens of Russia after the night shelling of Zaporizhia nuclear power plant by Russian troops, said that they should tell their authorities that they want to live in land without radioactive contamination.

According to the head of state, a night attack by Russian troops at Zaporizhia nuclear power plant could have stopped history.

⚡️Ukraine's State Emergency Service reports that the fire has been put out at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Station in Enerhodar at 6:20 a.m. Kyiv time.

There are no reported casualties.

“Russian troops attacked Zaporizhia nuclear power plant. The largest in Europe. It alone could be like six Chornobyls. Russian tankers knew that they were shelling. Direct fire at the plant. This is terror of an unprecedented level… The Russian military has completely repulsed the memory of Chornobyl. About this tragedy,” Zelensky said in a video message on Friday.

“Russian people, how can this be? We fought the consequences of the Chornobyl disaster together in 1986. You must remember the graphite scattered by the explosion. Victims. You must remember the glow over the destroyed power unit. You must remember the evacuation from Prypiat and the 30 km zone. How could you forget it? And if you have not forgotten, then you cannot be silent. You must tell your authorities, take to the streets and say that you want to live. To live in land without radioactive contamination. Radiation does not know where the limit of Russia is,” he added.
