#AceBreakingNews – Officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward after an incident in Brixton that left three people in hospital.

Police were called to Josephine Avenue, SW2, at 18.19hrs on Saturday, 20 August to reports of a group of males fighting.

Officers attended with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service (LAS). A man in his 30s was found with stab wounds. He was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.

Another male (no further details) was also found at the scene with stab wounds. He was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. He was taken to hospital before being taken into custody.

A vehicle that was seen driving away from the scene was stopped by police in Coldharbour Lane, SW9. Three males were detained and later arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. Taser was used to detain one of the men.

One of the men detained was found to have a minor stab wound and was taken to hospital for treatment before being taken into custody.

Another male occupant of the vehicle was taken to hospital after he was found with stab wounds.

All those taken to hospital were found to have non-life changing injuries.

A further three males were arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder. They have been taken into custody.

There are multiple crime scenes in place and enquiries are ongoing.
