It will be alleged at approximately 9.40pm on July 23, a man fired five shots into a Greendale Street property before leaving the scene on foot towards Fleetway Street.

Seven people, including two adults and five children, were home at the time of the incident; however, no one was physically injured.

Three weeks later, at approximately 3.30am on August 15, it will be alleged the man was part of a group that deliberately set fire to a florist along Riding Road in Balmoral.

The two men who were allegedly involved left the scene in a black Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Police will allege both incidents, targeting the same person, are related.

Operation Victor Nuclear was launched on June 29 and following extensive investigations, police executed a search warrant at a Toowoomba address yesterday, September 3, where officers allegedly located a number of weapons, drugs, ammunition, and fake number plates.

A 27-year-old Cambooya man was taken into police custody.

He has been charged with 20 offences including two counts of fraud, and one count each of carry dangerous goods in vehicle, wilful damage, dangerous conduct with weapon, enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence, arson (structure or building), dangerous operation of a vehicle, driver fail to remain at incident, driving of motor vehicle without a driver licence, unlawful possession of weapons (category D/H/R weapon), unlawful possession of weapons (category A, B OR M),  possess shortened firearms,  possess dangerous goods in vehicle, receiving tainted property, authority required to possess explosives, possessing dangerous drugs, possessing dangerous drugs (schedule 1 drug quantity of or exceeding Schedule 3 but less than schedule 4), possess property suspected of having been used in connection with the commission of a drug offence, and possession of property suspected of being the proceeds of an offence.

He was refused bail and is due to appear at Toowoomba Magistrates Court today, September 4.
