#AceBreakingNews – Police have arrested a woman after two stabbings in short succession in Melbourne’s CBD this afternoon: Victoria Police said investigators were told a woman stabbed a man at the intersection of Flinders and Downie streets around 5pm.

Shortly afterwards, the woman allegedly stabbed another woman near the intersection of Flinders and Spencer streets, police said.

“Both the male and female victims were transported to hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries,” police said.

Police arrested the alleged offender nearby and have established a crime scene.

Victoria Police said the exact circumstances of the stabbings were still being investigated.
