#AceBreakingNews – A 23-year-old man has been fatally stabbed at Mansfield in Brisbane’s south-eastern suburbs, with police investigating bikie gang links to the attack.
One man is in custody and being questioned by police, who are also searching for a white Nissan Patrol and its four occupants.
“We have what is quite a graphic and disturbing scene,” Queensland police Detective Superintendent Andrew Massingham said.
He said a 23-year-old man entered the car park of a gym at the intersection of Brigadoon Street and Pine Mountain Road in a white Mercedes Benz.
The man was then pursued by a black Audi, and as he tried to exit the car park was rammed by the Nissan Patrol.
Five men then got out of the cars.
“They have approached the driver seat … they’ve then used a crowbar to smash the window.”
Detective Superintendent Massingham said the man attempted to flee out of the passenger side door but was chased across the street by two of the men.
He was then stabbed multiple times in the torso by one of the men.
“These males were extremely motivated to hunt this individual down,” Detective Superintendent Massingham said.
Four of the men left the scene in the Nissan Patrol, with the fifth fleeing on foot towards Flame Tree Court.
Police searched the area and found two backpacks in bins in different yards.
A man was found in bushland close to the scene at about 4pm.
Attack caught on security cameras: The motive at this stage is unknown,” Detective Superintendent Massingham said:

But he confirmed that bikie links are being investigated.
“That is front and centre of what we are doing at the moment.”
He said the entire incident was caught on security cameras and made for shocking viewing.
Police said the attack was witnessed by “a number of people”.
Police are searching for the Nissan Patrol and the four men.
The public have been told that if they see the car, they should call triple-0 and not approach it.
Witnesses said there were around 30 people inside the gym at the time who were kept there for a number of hours.
