Charles Davis Photography once again amazes us with stunning photographs of Australian birds! Look at this incredible flock of Budgerigars (Budgies) he captured near Alice Springs.
Charles explains, “The tree in this photo is dead; the green covering it consists of Budgies, numbering in the tens of thousands.”
In the wild, Budgies can sometimes form flocks of up to tens of thousands of birds, especially after abundant rainfall or flooding. Many fortunate enough to witness this phenomenon describe it as one of the most extraordinary sights they’ve ever experienced.
