A Costa Rican fisherman rescued a crocodile from certain death after it had been shot in the head. Nursing the injured reptile back to health, the fisherman eventually released it into the wild. Unexpectedly, the crocodile, nicknamed “Pocho,” returned the next day, making itself at home on the fisherman’s porch. This unlikely friendship blossomed into a two-decade-long bond as Pocho became an integral family member.
