Dear readers, 

I know that this past year has been incredibly challenging for many, and I want to take a moment to acknowledge the struggles you’ve faced. In light of this, I’d like to share some uplifting words from the pen of A&M that I hope will bring you comfort and warmth during these trying times.

The word “Amen” (meaning “So Be It”) is such a beautiful gem that often goes unrecognised in our daily lives! Each day, as we reach out to God—no matter what name we use—through prayer 🙏 or quiet thoughts, we have the joyful opportunity to express our hopes and wishes. I know I’ve felt the excitement of trying to find just the right words in those moments! It’s like a bit of adventure, knowing that everything we express is embraced when we share our hearts sincerely. Let’s celebrate the power of that simple word and the connection it brings!

God truly understands our hearts rather than just our thoughts, which is why He nurtures our minds with the essential provisions we need—food on our table, clothes on our backs, and a roof over our heads. Some might wonder why they should express gratitude on this day. However, saying “Amen” helps us to seal these feelings in our hearts with the love of God that resides within us. In time, as we remain open to His influence, we’ll learn that God teaches us in ways that may be mysterious but are always meaningful. It all began with a single Word from the Light, and through that Word, our existence here on Earth has been shaped, just as it is in A&M.

So, when you speak and, if possible, remember this ‘Golden Word’: the Light of God initiated everything, and He gave us His Word to exercise our Free Will to transform the world for the better, not the worse. When we recite the ‘Prayer that God Taught the Disciples’ so long ago, everything will be fulfilled in Heaven and on Earth through His precious Son. At the end of that day, let us kneel together in gratitude, giving thanks for the food, the clothes, and the roof over our heads. We conclude our day with a simple Amen (So be it in us, in the love and goodness of our Creator. This is our thanks; so be it in us, just as it is in A&M).
