Instead of carting high-quality local produce to Berlin, Woodcuisine brings guests to Michelin-starred chef Nikodemus Berger in the forest.

And truffle lovers can even elicit secrets from the chef of the Bonvivant Cocktail Bistro that are otherwise closely guarded within the team. At eat!

In 2025, these two exciting events will represent the Michelin-starred restaurant. "We love this small gourmet festival," says Nikodemus Berger. "It's always a great opportunity to interrupt our everyday routines and try something new."

On February 25, 2025, the 30-year-old will cook pasta with truffles for guests in a special masterclass at Studio32 in Kreuzberg.

He is assisted by one of the city's leading truffle experts: Massimo Ferradino of Tartufo del Re. He supplies the exquisite mushrooms to the capital's Michelin-starred restaurants and, with his stand in Markthalle 9, is also a sought-after destination for amateur chefs.

Berger and Ferradino love the finest taste and the highest quality.

In the brand-new location of the Bonvivant Cocktail Bistro, Studio 32 Kreuzberg, there is plenty of space, a perfectly equipped kitchen, and a cozy atmosphere for the subsequent dinner. "Cooking with truffles isn't that easy," explains the Michelin-starred chef. "The white truffle is a little more forgiving than the black truffle, but both deserve special attention."

All guests are welcome to the masterclass—whether they want to actively participate in the cooking or prefer to watch from the sidelines with a glass of wine. Three courses will be prepared to maximise the truffle's versatility. At the end of the masterclass, everyone will eat together at a long table. The course starts on February 25th at 6 p.m., with the class beginning at 6:30 p.m. A ticket for this unique opportunity costs 185 euros, including accompanying wine from the VDP. "Frost & Flame" then takes us into the forest on Sunday, March 2nd, 2025, starting at 11 a.m.

Woodcuisine specialises in conjuring up dining rooms among leaves and trees.

Here, the casual style of the sustainable furniture manufacturer Woodboom combines with nature to create an incredible experience. Mischa-Amadeus Olma creates this extraordinary setting, into which Nikodemus Berger fits perfectly, with his two sustainable companies, Woodcuisine and Woodboom.

Nikodemus Berger passionately enjoys gathering herbs and ingredients for his excellent vegetable cuisine in the forest.

For this special treat, the Michelin-starred chef will create an impressive six-course menu featuring root vegetables, mushrooms, and everything else the region's nature offers during winter.

They'll embark on a short spring wild herb hike beforehand to get guests in the mood. While the fire will provide some warmth for lunch, the two forest enthusiasts, Berger and Olma, recommend appropriate outdoor clothing. "We're guests in the beautiful natural surroundings," says Nikodemus Berger, "but we shouldn't expect it to unpack its warm temperatures for us in March."
