#AceDailyNews says here’s todays Newspaper Headlines: Its all about Queens Funeral Today Kindness & Love says 🙏🙏’s for Nation in Mourning Amen

The Sunday Mirror front page
Sunday’s front pages lead with photos from a vigil for the late Queen Elizabeth II, held by her grandchildren. The Mirror features a photo of Princes William and Harry, both in military dress, looking solemn beside their cousins as they paid silent tribute to their grandmother, who is lying in state in Westminster Hall.
The Sun on Sunday front page
“United we stand” is the headline on the front of the Sun. The paper says the brothers “put aside their differences” to lead all eight of the Queen’s grandchildren at the ceremony in Parliament.
The Sunday People front page
The Sunday People calls it a “vigil of love”.
The Daily Telegraph front page
The Sunday Telegraph sums up the moment: “Together for Granny.” It was an “emotional vigil that matched the most formal of royal duties with love,” the paper says, as the Queen’s grandchildren – with an age range spanning 30 years – chose to pay public tribute in the first vigil of its kind in British history.
The Sunday Express front page
The Sunday Express joins calls for an annual celebration of the Queen with a dedicated day in the national calendar. The paper also expects calls to be made in Parliament this week for a statue of the Queen to be erected permanently on the fourth plinth in Trafalgar Square.
The Guardian front page
The Guardian picks the same photo from the vigil as many other papers, with the caption: “United in sorrow”. Elsewhere, it says Liz Truss is facing “a political and economic baptism of fire this week” as leading UK business organisations put “pressure” on ministers for “absolute clarity” on help for rocketing energy bills.
The Daily Star front page
With its long-time enthusiasm for UFOs, the Daily Star leads on a story about aliens, saying “the truth will soon be out there”. The paper says a Hollywood producer has claimed secret agents tried to “insert details about aliens and UFOs into TV sci-fi series to ready the world for an official revelation about life from outer space”.

The Sunday Telegraph and the Observer carry the same photograph of Queen Elizabeth’s grandchildren side by side in Westminster Hall for their vigil at her coffin. The Sunday Mirror’s headline calls them “granny’s guard of honour”. The Telegraph says the cousins maintained their composure as members of the public filed past them in tears.

The Sunday People’s front page focuses on William and Harry’s role in what it calls the “vigil of love”. The Sun on Sunday says the brothers put aside their differences to show a united front

The Daily Star Sunday calls them “brothers in arms for gran”.

The Sunday Express says it is backing a major campaign to enshrine the memory of Queen Elizabeth with a dedicated day in the national calendar, and a statue on the fourth plinth in Trafalgar Square. It points out that an online petition in support of a new “Elizabeth Day” has already been backed by more than 138,000.

The arrival of a host of foreign dignitaries for the funeral inspires Matt’s Telegraph cartoon, which features a sign in a Royal Souvenir shop reading: “Only two world leaders in store at any time”.

The Observer says Prime Minister Liz Truss faces a potentially bruising transition back to normal politics after tomorrow. It reports that leading UK business organisations are renewing pressure on ministers for “absolute clarity” on what help they will be offered with their energy bills. The new business secretary, Jacob Rees-Mogg, is due to make an announcement on Wednesday.

Drinking plenty of tea can help reduce the risk of developing type-2 diabetes by nearly a fifth, according to research which has caught the eye of the Sun and other papers. The Chinese authors of the study say the effect is particularly strong among people who have at least four cups a day of black, green or Oolong tea. They think adding a dash of milk might also strengthen the protective effects of a cup of tea, which they attribute to the natural compounds produced by tea plants.
